Are you interested in getting involved in the FIRST Tech Challenge?  Not sure where to start?  

Here are the areas you can get involved with to inspire teenagers to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathmatics.

Start a Team

Before starting a team connect with your local Affiliate Partner.  Visit Start a Team for step-by-step details on the process.

Become a Team or Event Sponsor, or a Supplier

If you would like to sponsor an FTC team or event, visit the Teams and Events in my Area page to find a team or event.  You can also connect with the Affiliate Partner in your region and they will give you additional information on sponsorships and areas of need. 

Mentor a Team

If you are interested in becoming a FIRST Mentor,  connect with the FIRST Affiliate Partner closest to you. They will help you understand the process of forming a team

We also recommend attending an FTC event near you.  The What events and teams are in my area page will help you find an event in your area.  Attendance is free.

Volunteer

Each competition event depends on an abundance of volunteers with a broad spectrum of talents to support operating needs and competition demands. Visit the Volunteer section to learn more. 

Parental cooperation and support is invaluable to FTC team members. Parents can act as a resource as well as volunteers to assist with transportation, refreshments, fundraising, etc.
