Good Morning Teams,

Your robot is in the bag.  You’ve had some time to clean up the work shop.  Hopefully you’ve printed out your team roster, carefully saved your robot lock up form, packed safety glasses for every member of your team, and made plans for your first competition event.  What to do now?

Read up:  The inspection Bill Of Material has been updated to Rev A.   and the 2012 FRC Safety Manual has been posted.

Take a look around: Team 1649 has a new feature on their website that shows the location of every FRC & FTC team.   Are there any teams in your area that you didn’t know about?  Reach out.

Plan a training: FIRST is still accepting submissions for the Robot Conference at Championship.

Apply for the FIRST Future Innovator Award: Deadline March 16. The winning students will be granted an award presented by the Abbott Fund and also will have the opportunity to meet with a venture capitalist firm for a real-world experience to discuss their invention and possible business application.

Review the list of scholarships:  Deadlines are approaching. 

Look closely at passing tractor trailer trucks:  The field for San Diego, CA left Manchester yesterday, San Antonio, is leaving today, Knoxville, TN & Kansas City, MO will go out tomorrow.  The trucks for Manchester, NH (yes, we load a truck to get everything to the arena.) and Portland, OR leave on Tuesday the 28th.  Then six more start their routes between 3/2 and 3/7.
