FLL Recognizes Inspiring Leaders
Marie Bush and Eugene Zhang were recently recognized as "inspiring leaders" for FIRST and FLL.


Ms. Bush recently received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado. Her desire to go back to school was spurned by her involvement with FIRST LEGO League.
In his congratulatory letter Dean Kamen wrote, "Your degree is a celebration of the kind of world I want to live in, where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders. You, Ms. Bush, are one of those leaders."

FLL Recognition Letter - Marie Bush
Mr. Zhang, an FLL Operational Partner and Semia CEO, was recently recognized as “One of the 60 Most Influential People in Education” in China. In addition, SEMIA Limited (Zhang's organization),
was awarded for introducing “One of the 60 Most Valuable and Welcomed Educational Products and Equipment” to China. These awards were part of a ceremony that formed part of the official celebration of the 60th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. Zhang was the only enterprise representative who made a keynote speech at this event.
Kamen writes "These awards confirm our belief in the power and impact of FIRST and FIRST LEGO League, and our mission to create a world that embraces and celebrates science and technology."
