FIRST Place hosts a variety of workshops and conferences to support teams and their efforts in FRC, FTC, and FLL. Follow the links below to find past workshop and conference slides, videos, and supporting documentation. FIRST Place can also coordinate a variety of custom workshops for educators, parents, and others.

FIRST Robotics Competition Kickoff Workshops are held annually in January at FIRST headquarters in Manchester, New Hampshire. The kickoff workshops include the Rookie Workshop, designed to help first-year teams learn about FIRST and the intense season they are about to begin, and the Resources Workshops, designed to help support the growth and advancement of all FIRST teams.

Upcoming FIRST Women in Science & Technology Conference (WIST)

Save the Date!

The FIRST Women in Science & Technology Conference is scheduled for Friday, November 5, 2010 at FIRST Place and UNH-Manchester in Manchester, NH. This day-long event for high school girls will feature women in science and technology fields discussing their careers, education, experiences, and advice. College students will share first-hand accounts about their experiences at the schools they attend. We encourage all high school girls considering science, math, engineering, and technology-related fields to attend.
