The Jr.FLL Base Kit is not required for participation in Jr.FLL, but it provides a wide variety of elements useful in creating a model with moving parts such as gears and a motor.  The Base Kit consists of the LEGO Education Mechanisms Set and the Mechanisms Power Add-on.

               

In the U.S., these two products are bundled together and offered at the discounted price of $95. That’s a savings of almost $27!
In Canada, the Mechanisms Set is $94.50 Canadian, and the Mechanisms Power Add-on is $39.50 Canadian.
