Strategic Partners Invest in Future Workforce through FIRST
Strategic Partners at FIRST are evaluated and chosen by the Development Committee with the FIRST Board of Directors. Strategic Partner companies meet a stringent set of criteria which includes the company’s alignment with FIRST priorities; meaningful support of FIRST beyond one Region; and at least a two-year record with FIRST.
After FIRST updated its Strategic Plan to accelerate the growth of teams and engage more schools and students, an initial group of companies stepped up their support with major investments behind this plan. In general, this increased support has been national in scope and/or involves multiple FIRST programs to promote the continuum of programs from K-12.
