NFL Take a Player to School
FIRST sponsor, the nonprofit JCPenney Afterschool Fund, has announced that they are taking submissions through September 29 for Take a Player to School. Thirty-four lucky US students will have the opportunity to ride to school with an NFL player and join him in leading their class during a special Take a Player to School gym class. You and your team(s) may have an opportunity to even tell (and show) the players something about your extracurricular robotics work with FIRST. This program centers on inspiring youth to make the most of their in-school and after-school time by making smart and healthy choices. The program is open to students 6-13.
