Bob Tuttle is a General Partner of 1848 Associates, a commercial real estate development entity, and the Executive Vice President of DEKA Research & Development Corporation. DEKA develops internally generated inventions as well as providing research and development services for major corporate clients, often for medical products.
Tuttle previously served for more than ten years as the Chairman & CEO of Enstrom Helicopter Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of several light helicopter designs. Prior to that, Tuttle served in various executive positions for Raytheon Company’s Missile Group, including Deputy General Manager, Group Controller, and Planning Director. The Missile Group’s products included the Patriot, Hawk, Sparrow, AMRAAM, Sidewinder, and Maverick systems. He started his career as an aerospace engineer with Grumman Aerospace.
Tuttle earned a bachelor''s degree in engineering from Cornell University and an MBA in finance from Cornell University. He serves on numerous for-profit and not-for-profit Boards.
